Charming desserts had a booth at Haru Matsuri (spring festival) held at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre last weekend, and it was such a success! Macarons were sold out on both days fairly early. To be honest, I didn’t expect that so it was a pleasant surprise :)
The macaron flavours featured were sakura white chocolate, matcha, black sesame, earl grey milk chocolate, coconut vanilla bean, chocolate hazelnut, pistachio, royal milk tea & green tea black sesame. For cupcakes, there was sakura green tea adorned with a cherry blossom on top of each.
